I am so disappointed, the MAC spree organizer refuses to reopen the spree. sobs... she said that this is her 2nd time opening the spree and due to low responses, she don't wanna open any MAC spree again, sobs... I guess I just have to source for other sprees in hoping to find one. Good luck to me!

OMG!!! i just discovered someone opened a M.A.C. spree, but too bad its close due to poor response. Nobody willing to post an order first, darns... i left a comment, hope the organizer will reopen the spree. then i can get some stuff at cheaper price as compared to if i buy in Singapore. pray she will reopen! :)

I called up M.A.C. stores and checked that the M.A.C. Eye Shadow X4 Notoriety will only launch in Singapore on 4th September and it costs S$69. US is only selling it at US$36.

If u tell me ey have to take into account shipping cost, tts quite bullshit-in, how can something weighs so light (5.2g) needs S$15 to ship to Singapore?? *eyes rolled

I wonder if its possible to purchase it on the US website and ship it back to Singapore via vpost. Not sure if it would be cheaper that way though.

I realized there are a few finishes to M.A.C.'s eyeshadows and was curious what each of them actually stands for. So I went to do a search on the webby.

Currently, I m very into M.A.C. Cosmetics. Went for a mini haul of 3 items: eye liner sharpener (S$6), M.A.C. Lustreglass in Pinkarrot (S$28, US$14) and Prep+Primer (S$30). I was wondering y is it US14 x 2 = S$28 when e exchange rate is US1 = S$1.49. hees...

For those who don't know what's a Primer for, it is actually a base for e eyeshadow, it allows eyeshadow to last longer, more vibrant and lasting color, and absolutely NO creasing. I actually wanted to get the Lustreglass in Spring Bean but it was discontinued and no longer available in Singapore. I called up all the M.A.C. Stores and they said there were no stocks left. *sad :'( The reason y I wanna get it is because its very shiny on the lips and although its green in color, it will turn out to be sheered when applied. Imagine whipping it out of ur bag when u put it on, everyone will be so amazed of the color, so funky! :) Love it! So I asked my fren to search for me in M'sia, hope he can find it. :)

Every Sunday 10pm, there will be some interesting movie on Okto Oscar Film Arts. This week 9/3/09, it was North Country.

Synopsis:

Its been quite long since I wrote, busy w work, blehs... currently into this HK drama series, Channel U, Mondays to Fridays, at 7pm.



Both guys look so cute (you can see it very clearly from the picture above) and treats the girl so well, too bad she have to choose between them, hhms... it would be great to have best of the both, greedy <grins> The girl is very lucky to have quan li as her best friend and she has a very caring and supportive family and dad. Although her dad always scold his daughters, he actually cares for his daughters very much and love them alot. Hmmms... Nice drama series, worth watching :)

have been watching 舞林大道 for quite some time, but I only watch performance by 台灣龍捲風 cause I love 小威力. He is so cute and can dance so well. His hip hop moves are so well trained, he can pop very well too, cannot believe he is just 10 years old. Some kids are really talented, inert talent. Next time, I want my son to learn hip hop too and dance as well as he does. :)

have been watching this show even before exams start, woohooo!! quite funny and lame, but i dun really like the ending, i rather xiao hua be with jia si le, hes so gentle and nice to xiao hua, i guess some girls prefer guys who are bad and treat them badly, blehs... its actually quite irritating when xiao hua cries, so sick of it. JIA SI LE ROCKS!!!

ARGH!!! exams making me so tired and stressed out. One more paper to go and its the most difficult paper, CORPORATE FINANCE!!!


damns.... Didn't do well for my takeover assignment so must do better for this exams in order to get a D, sad. The worst thing about this paper is that I have to pass the exams paper then can pass the whole module, that is the criteria. sobs...

Woah, have been quite busy this few days because my exams are around the corner and my maid went back, had to do house chores, blehs...

Still took time to check out some youtube videos, wahaha... Discovered some amazing vids on David Archuleta, boy, he is one talented guy with an amazing voice. Loves it when he sing love songs, touching and pure. Here are some vids, when he was young and currently. He look different but still cute. As for voice, certainly it has changed, but I think his voice is really WOAH!!!

This is one video when he was young. He participated in the STAR SEARCH award, you can see the judges in the background, they are like "WAOH, this boy is GOOOODDDDD!!!!" hehes...

Vivi's heart melted. hees.... Look at his eyes, so mesmerizing, woooo... 17 year old with great voice, love it whenever I hear him sing.


There was once I watched American Idol 2008 on TV, the same season where he was on. The theme was theatre singing, below is the vid of him singing "Think of you" from Phantom of the Opera, I loved this song when I heard it in the Phantom of the Opera, but I did not expect someone to sing it in a totally different way, I thought it was lovely. It was gr8, nice! I noticed Randy keeps calling him "BABY", hees... so cute :)

Vivi's Heart Melted

Long time since I posted anything. was really busy with assignments and tests, last week was a havoc, Tuesday had accounting test, Thursday have to discuss on the research for business strategy and Friday had to hand in Corporate Finance event study and weekly Economics test, UBER BUSY!!!

This week also quite busy, Thursday have to hand in accounts case study 2, after that I will be free for 1month, and then exams, blehs... BUSY!!!

Oh, i had my new york new york dinner Cityhall on Saturday, it was so filling. This is what we had:

At last, corporate finance test over, wahaha... can relax awhile before i start with econs again, so tired!!! patient needs rest, sobs... hope to see hons soon :) prudential ppl bugging me again, blehs... investment plans and stuff, argh!!! and i found out my phone depreciated so fast, i bought it at $500+ one year ago and now it only worth $76, sobs... but i still love my phone. :) sleek design, one word, SEXY!!! hees...

AHHH!!! I just had one whole week of MC, did not even study for my corporate finance mid-term test, shits... So much theory to study, M&M theory, WACC calculations, Market efficiency, die liao. sobs...  Hope I can do well for the test tml, gambate!!! And worst of all, I didn't know my teacher brought forward the econs test, double AHHH!!! I did not touch it at all, hope my A levels econs will help. Don't let my B fail me!!!
Currently haven't see my hons for 1whole long miserable week because he was confined, sobs... cannot wait to see him on friday, shall stand at the gates and wait, desperate to see him first, hees... since I recovered (almost) from dengue fever, he promised to bring me to New York New York for some good food, yums, can't wait to drink the chocolate drink again. *slurps*


Then after that, I shall be rewarded by hons to Sushi Tei, sashimi, I am coming!!! wahaha.... its me and hons' fave, wooo, and $4 chawanmushi (so expensive, hons should learn how to make and cook for me, hees... sounds more like the other way round), hees... Excited!!!

whew, long time since I wrote in. was feeling unwell, contracted dengue fever, blehs....


Thursday night- down with fever and muscle aches, feel cold. I thought it was just a normal fever, so I just took panadol and went to sleep.

Friday- fever never subside, cough.

Saturday- fever subsided awhile, felt like vomiting, feeling a bit better. However, fever came back at night.

Sunday- continue to have fever.

Monday- went to doctor, discovered its viral fever 38degrees, given paracetamol, pain killers, anti- inflammatory pills, lozenges, 2days MC.

Tuesday- fever subsided, having sore throat.

Wednesday- rashes which itches, all over hands and legs

Thursday- went back to doctor, given medicine for itch, calamine lotion, 3days MC. went for blood test, confirmation of dengue fever. Platelet count 86 (low), reference: 140-430.

Friday- went back for blood test. Platelet count 94 (low), ref: 140-430. Rashes on hand disappeared, legs still visible (very red) but doesn't itch anymore.

Tuesday- went back for blood test. Platelet count 230 (acceptable), ref: 140-430. Rashes on legs still visible. Cough have not recovered, a lot of phlegm.

Although platelet count back to normal, but still experiencing headaches and feel weak, almost fell down twice yesterday.

THINGS TO NOTE WHEN YOU HAVE DENGUE FEVER:
1) Do not fall down.
2) Drink more water and milk.
3) Rest more.

Above is my experience on dengue fever. BAD MOSQUITOES, how i wish they will all die!!!
